Starting at the OHV area known as the Mile Markers, MM 11.5, and the Boulders, we headed into the Hieroglyphic Mountains for a great big bike friendly kind of ride. Lots of gravely washes, hard packed whoops, and spectacular views define this ride. |

Sunflower mine is a real treat. In operation mining mecury into the 1980's, there is a lot of equipment still in reasonable condition. High clearance 4x4 vehicles and big bikes with experienced off road riders will find the access road to the mine challenging. Also, the easy 201 road up to the Mazatzal Wilderness is spectacular!!! |
